These instructions will take you through the process of changing the machine ID for a set of beams in XiO after an optimized set of compensators have been created.

As all XiO users who use compensator based IMRT know, once you run your optimizer, you cannot change your machine ID without deleting you compensators. What happens when a machine will be down for a period of time and your other unit is not a complete match? The doctor wants to know what the dose distribution will look like, but changing the machine wipes the compensator out. NO MORE!!! With a little patience, you can now do what should be a simple task!
