The Pinnacle Electron Model Processor is a small application that allows physicists to retrieve their electron model parameters (applicators, energies, model, and OFs) from a Pinnacle machine file and then re-import those parameters via a script file

This application processes a machine file that is exported from ADAC using a script containing the following line:

MachineList.Current.Save = "somepath/somefile.txt"

When executed from the physics section of Pinnacle it will export the machine file with all of the electron model parameters for the currently selected machine.

Once the file is exported it needs to be ftp'd to the computer where this application has been installed. Start the application and select the file as the machine file for processing then browse to the folder where you would like the application to place the individual scripts or the combined eModel.Script file. As implied the application can produce either a single all inclusive script that will import all electron applicators, energies, model parameters, and electron output factors for the current electron model or separate script files for
importing all applicators, all energies, model parameters (separated by energy specifier), and electron output factors (also separated by energy specifier) or any combination there of. This should give the user a fair amount of flexibility in how he or she would like to import or the information from the current model into another machine.

It is important to know that each script assumes it is importing the indicated data into a clean machine and therefore does not check to see if there are existing objects in the machine that may or may not conflict with the data being imported. It is left to the user to add any additional lines to the script files in order to add more robust object checking if so desired. If copying a machine to enter the model into make sure to delete all applicators and energy specifiers for the electron portion of the machine before proceeding to run the eModel
import script.

Example Model

The VarianIX folder contains electron profiles and pdds for a Varian IX machine (also tested and compared to Varian EX, 2100C, and 2100CD for match). It also includes both an eModel.Script file for importing the entire model created by the author and the individual model parameter files for each of the energy specifiers in the model so that energies can be imported individually. If improvements are
made on the model or any mistakes are found in the model and or the application itself the author would appreciate being notified of these findings.

The model contains:

Profiles for electron energies of 6MeV, 9MeV, 12MeV, 16MeV, and 20MeV at depths of - R90/2, R90, R70, R50, and Rp + 2cm

For field sizes: 2cm, 3cm, 4cm, 5cm, 6cm (in a 6 x 6 cone)
For field sizes: 8cm, 10cm (in a 10 x 10 cone)
For field sizes: 15cm (in a 15 x 15 cone)
For field sizes: 20cm (in a 20 x 20 cone)
For field sizes: 25cm (in a 25 x 25 cone)

PDDs for electron energies of 6MeV, 9MeV, 12MeV, 16MeV, and 20MeV
For field sizes: 2cm, 3cm, 4cm, 5cm, 6cm (in a 6 x 6 cone)
For field sizes: 8cm, 10cm (in a 10 x 10 cone)
For field sizes: 15cm (in a 15 x 15 cone)
For field sizes: 20cm (in a 20 x 20 cone)
For field sizes: 25cm (in a 25 x 25 cone)

Output factors for electron energies of 6MeV, 9MeV, 12MeV, 16MeV, and 20MeV
